Mark Batterson penned a gem in this one. Whisper is all about listening for the voice of God and how to discern it. This two part book will have your attention from start to finish. At the end, you'll find yourself recommending it to the first person that comes your way.

Part 1 - The Power of a Whisper

This part takes you through what Mark calls "the bravest prayer" and then talks about how God speaks to us, and his whispers.

Part 2 - The Seven Love Languages

Don't let these be confused with the 5 Love Languages Gary Chapman wrote about. These are 7 languages that God uses to talk to you. They include scripture, promptings and people. I won't spoil the rest!

This book has plenty of scripture to back it up and you'll learn all kinds of things about history, the ear anatomy, and other things you never thought you'd care about. It makes the book fun.

Whether you're looking for the voice of God, or you just need to expand your listening radar a bit, this book will help you. Don't hesitate to buy this one. I'd give it 7 stars out of 5 if my WordPress plugin would let me.
